Cookie Statement

1. We set no cookies

The Eresus Guard website sets no cookies. There is no first-party cookie for sessions, preferences, analytics, or personalization, and no third-party advertising, analytics, or profiling cookie is loaded by the pages you visit.

• No Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no session-replay, no heatmap tool, and no A/B testing script is present in the site code.
• No cookie banner is shown because no consent-requiring cookie is placed. If that ever changes, we will add a consent mechanism before the cookie is set.

2. Bot protection on the access-request form

The access-request form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which distinguishes a real browser from an automated script.

• Turnstile is cookie-less. It does not set a tracking cookie on your device and does not follow you across sites.
• It works by a short-lived challenge between your browser and Cloudflare and returns a verification token with the form. We use the token to accept or reject the submission and then it is spent.
• Cloudflare processes the signals needed to make that decision as our processor for site protection. The Cloudflare pre-clearance option, which would set a clearance cookie, is not enabled on this site.

3. Browser storage and local state

• Pages are served statically and the application ships no analytics or preference storage, so nothing is written to local storage or session storage for tracking purposes.
• Server-side request handling records IP address, user agent, path, and timestamps in operational logs. That is server logging, not a device-side cookie, and it is described in the Privacy Policy.

4. The hosted Workbench is different

The hosted Workbench, the product customers sign in to, is a separate authenticated application. It uses strictly necessary session and security storage to keep a signed-in session valid and to protect against request forgery. Those mechanisms are required to deliver the product and are described in the Data Controls page. They are not used for advertising or for tracking you across other sites.

5. How to control storage in your browser

• You can block or delete cookies and site data for any domain in your browser settings. Because this site sets none, blocking changes nothing about how these pages work.
• If an extension or a network appliance injects a cookie while you visit, it comes from that third party and not from us.
• You can also block the Turnstile script. The form then cannot complete its verification, and the request will be rejected; email us instead and we will process the request another way.

6. Changes

If we introduce a cookie or a similar technology, we update this page and, where the law requires consent, we ask for it before the technology runs.
